and other creative experiences!
Our regular schedule is 10am - 5pm on Tuesdays, through Saturdays JUNE and we will extend our Thursday hours to 8 pm. Also Classes-On-Demand can extend these hours by special appointment. Closed Sundays and Mondays.
We will be closed for a funeral on Friday, June 9. Our sincere sympathy to Lyndi who just lost her father.
June Art Show: Meet the Artists, June 8, 6-8 pm
AFTER SCHOOL ART

After School Art - Grades 6-12 (Accepting Enrollment) Tuesdays from 3:30-5:00 pm Upper grade students explore the media of their choice. Materials will vary based on what each student wishes to explore . . . $12 per 1-1/2 hour session or if you prefer to pay in advance by the month, the cost is $40 per month regardless of whether there are four or five Tuesdays in the month!
After School Art Grades 1-5 (Accepting Enrollment) A variety of art experiences are presented on Thursdays from 3:30-5:00 pm, including learning about the elements of art and principles of design, seasonal crafts, and studying master artists. $10 per 1-1/2 hr. session or if you prefer to pay in advance by the month, the cost is $35 per month regardless of whether there are four or five Thursdays in the month!
AFTER SCHOOL ART meets during the public school calendar year. When school is out we pause to offer YOUTH ART DAY CAMPS. (See information below)
This year's camp begins on JUNE 1.
YOUTH ART DAY CAMPS
Students will complete their own art based on the style or inspiration of a Master Artist, such as Romero Britto, Mary Cassatt, and Vincent Van Gogh among others. Most materials supplied. Camp meets once per week during the summer beginning in June Secondary students meet on Tuesdays beginning on June 6. Elementary students meet on Wednesdays beginning on June 7.
MOMMY (Daddy? Aunt? Grandma?) & ME
(Begins Friday, June 2, 2pm)
Children are born with natural curiosity. They find joy coloring, painting, and exploring while developing creativity that is important to solve problems as they mature.
You and your preschool child will explore materials, experience color & textures, improve fine-motor skills, stimulate the five senses and enjoy being creative. Each art lesson will expose the children to an element of art, new art material, or basic art skills. We will print hands, feet, and play with paint and messy substances, so wear old clothing! Fridays @ 2:00 pm-? Classes last long enough to complete one or two projects depending on your child's perseverance.
$10 per session, or $35/month when paid in advance.
ATC WORKSHOPS & ROCK PAINTING SATURDAYS
Join our ATC Guild and make Artist Trading Cards. ATC swapping began in 1997 and has become a worldwide event! Opportunities to trade locally an internationally. Learn a new technique each week. First workshop is FREE! Additional workshops $7 per session, Saturdays, 1 pm-??
We coordinate this workshop with a FREE Rock Painting Workshop for youth and adults. We encourage you to hide your rocks in the 918 telephone exchange area and to give hints on where you hide them on the Facebook page called "Tiger Rocks 918 Coweta Rocks"
MIXED MEDIA PAINTING
(Ages 12 – Adults) Create beautiful abstract 16”X20” back stapled canvases (no framing necessary) in this two-week class, Thursdays, 6:00 pm-?? Materials provided. Create up to three canvases in this class. $45 for 2-week class and one canvas + $7 for each additional canvas.
Beginning ADULT WATERCOLOR
Learn about watercolor products, brushes, and paper. Explore a variety of techniques for creating fresh, vibrant colors in this 6-week class on Wednesdays, 11:00-1:00pm Basic materials list will be provided upon enrollment. We will discuss other suggested options at the first class. $65
Beginner's Leather Tooling Class Instructor: Richard Toler
Mr. Toler has created leather items for many famous people and has produced several copyrighted designs. This class meets weekly beginning Thursday, March 6, at 5:39 pm. The cost includes basic tools that will be used over and over again as the student advances in skill plus three leather projects. Students will learn the basics of leather tooling while they create a pouch, a keychain, and a trifold billfold in this six week course. Limited enrollment. Sign up today! Call 918-728-5228
